Excellent quality video but date stamp issue

This spy cam appears quite very good, but following location up the day and time stamp I switched the camera off for a number of minutes to simulate energy decline, but when I then did a check movie the day stamp had reverted to 2011 (from 2012) and the time was also mistaken.So it looks this camera needs to be established up then remaining plugged and undisturbed in buy not to revert to its default 2011 date/time stamp.Personally Ive missing self-confidence in the capability of this unit to go on doing work for months or months and keep a legitimate time/day stamp, and I feel this could be the cause why the recommendations say to constantly check out the digital camera periodically to ensure its functioing okay.

doesnt demonstrate true colour

experienced this for a week now,it does what the description suggests,BUT, the green,and blue isn't correct.specific blues occur up violet,and the grass outdoors is coming up yellowy orange.it is a cheep price to spend for peace of brain,BUT, if I experienced recognized,i would have paid much more for real colour online video.

Extremely excellent for the price tag

I was looking for a standalone SD card memory digital camera with IR and so forth and this suits the bill flawlessly. The device can overwrite more mature videos if the card fills up (get a huge card!) , and the take away manage is a excellent ideaApart from the covert mother nature ( I agree with other overview which states the system is quite naturally distinct from a a common PIR) , this did specifically what I wanted.The image good quality is very good and the unit displays up on my Mac OSX laptop computer wonderful. I did have to configure gadget on a home windows machine but that was a one off ... and then I observed there is a text file which can be modified with the settings anyways, so I couldve done it all without Home windows.

Be aware that digicam does not function if it is not pluged in to electric power supply! Alarm systems hunting like this digital camera do not have any pluges so you can plainly see it is not an alarm since of that.
